I’m cautious because I know there are forces working really hard to discredit this show, so I don’t know how long it will last. So I’m cautiously excited by the airing of Shonda’s new Joint, Still Star Crossed. I try to make some effort to seek out those films with prominent characters of color, like anything set in pre-reformation Japan, or the movie Belle. From Downton Abbey, to The Remains of the Day, to The Three Musketeers, I love the costumes, and dialogue, and plots. Goldberg the cancer comedy “Pearl,” written and executive produced by Andrew Reich Scott Silveri‘s “Speechless,” about a family with a special-needs child and the “Agents of SHIELD” spinoff “Marvel’s Most Wanted.I’ve always loved period films. The other projects include an untitled drama set in a Bronx convent, an army medical drama from “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Zoanne Clack and the divorce comedy “Splitsville” from the creators of “Trophy Wife.”Īmong the network’s other pilot pick-ups this season are an untitled imaginary friend comedy from “The Goldbergs” creator Adam F.
